Educational RequirementsITI in Fitter Trade: A 2-year Full-Time ITI (NCVT/SCVT) is the baseline requirement.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: For the higher end of the salary bracket (₹25k–₹30k), a 3-year Diploma is often preferred as it indicates a better grasp of engineering theory and leadership potential.Secondary Education: Completion of 10th/High School with a strong focus on Mathematics and Science.2. Professional ExperienceGeneral Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting.Industry Specific: At least 2 years in a Food, Pharma, or FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desired in Meerut plants like Britannia or local units in Partapur.Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with Rotary Moulders, Cooling Conveyors, and Flow-wrap (packaging) machines.3. Mandatory CertificationsFSSAI FoSTaC Training: Certification in "Food Safety Supervisor" (Manufacturing) is becoming a standard requirement for maintenance staff to ensure they understand contamination risks.Apprenticeship Certificate: Completion of the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) after ITI is a significant advantage.Safety Certifications:LOTO (Lock-Out Tag-Out): Certification in energy isolation procedures.Hot Work Permit: Training for TIG/Arc welding within a factory setting.4.
